"It's the current trend": in Toulon, this new brand offers freshly cut fruits and vegetables

For the French, "eating healthy" appears to be the priority criterion (29%), ahead of "eating well" (23%), according to the Ipsos institute. A priority that Franck Nataf has identified for seven years now.
Originally from Paris, this Varois by adoption is the founder of FreshCut. Opened in the city center since the end of June, the store offers, as its name suggests, freshly cut fruits and vegetables every day. And Franck takes care of preparing the dishes himself. " I receive seasonal produce every day, which I then prepare in the form of pokebowls, mixed salads, and snacks. Everything is fresh, available to eat in or take away. "
While the colorful interior space allows for the display of all the products, a terrace welcomes around twenty customers on site. " Before the end of the year, I will also have a mezzanine installed inside, " the merchant explains.
A gap to fill in ToulonA new addition to the city center that will delight healthy food lovers. " It's part of the current trend," explains Franck. "Today, people are aware of the importance of eating healthy and want a better life balance. So, having a business that offers this nearby is a plus. "
The merchant conducted market research before setting up shop in Toulon. He lives in Vidauban and didn't hesitate to set up his business in the center of the Var capital. " There was a niche to fill and a demand from the people of Toulon," he explains. "You can find all kinds of businesses in the capital of the Var, but no fresh and healthy cuts. So it was the right time to offer one. "
Franck worked for nearly ten years in fresh cutting and was " a supplier for major retailers. But after a few years, I was no longer finding what I was looking for. So I decided to take the plunge. "
A winning bet: in just four weeks of opening, FreshCut already has a loyal customer base who appreciate the offerings. " For 10.90 euros, I offer a healthy meal, including a main course, a dessert, and a drink. "
Affordable prices attract an ever-growing clientele. Open daily, Franck welcomes customers from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sundays.
Practical FreshCut is located at 6 rue Émile-Zola.
